Nothing major has gone on with us lately, I just wanted to post really quick so every one knows we are still alive and well! Here are some pictures of us recently.
Feeding the ducks
Colton loves to give kisses, I have never seen lips go out as far as he can push his. A few days ago we went to an Easter party for our ward and all of the kids were playing in the grass and rolling down the hill. Colton thought that this looked like fun so he went over next to a little girl who what probably about nine years old and he tried to roll down the hill too. It wasn’t quite a success, basically he just laid down and then got right back up again, but he thought that he had done it and was pretty proud of himself. he stood up and put his hand out for the girl to give him “five”. she did, then he puckered up like this and wanted to give her a kiss, she just looked at him funny and laughed before she got up and ran away to go play some more. It was really funny. I was giggling at him from across the field. what was even funnier was that the shirt he was wearing said “ Yes girls I’m single”. What a boy!!!
Colton likes to share everything with Kaci, here he has given her a piece of bread. One time while I was making lunch Colton and Kaci were in the other room and Colton wanted some goldfish crackers. I gave him some and didn’t really think anything of it until I hear Kaci cooing in the next room and Colton chattering at her. I go in to see what they are doing and find Colton very carefully placing goldfish in Kaci’s mouth. She still has the tongue reflex so they came right back out but it was still scary for me. She thought that they were playing though and had the biggest smile on her face, and Colton thought he was just sharing. From now on we try to supervise the goldfish a little better.
Kaci is super happy in the mornings!! She just got her first tooth in and is such a sweetie about it, she wasn’t cranky at all. I only knew she was teething because she was chewing on everything and was drooling a lot. she also rolled from her back to her front for the first time yesterday. Yeah for baby milestones!!
We got to play with cousins last week
I painted Kaci’s toenails while she was sleeping in her car seat and when she woke up she stared at them for the longest time trying to figure them out. I think her pink toes are the cutest little things!!
Life is going great for us right now. We have two of the cutest and most fun kids ever and are having so much fun being their parents!
