Gone Fishing!

On Monday Weldon’s sister Lorraine came down to visit so we all went to the duck ponds at the fair grounds and feed the ducks and went fishing. It was lots of fun and I think it is definitely something we will have to do again!

Colton was super excited to be big enough to hold the fishing pole. I think this is my favorite picture of the day. Colton and Monie just fishing! This next one was cute too.

Kaci got to hold a worm and is not quite sure what to think about it. Right after I took this picture she tried to eat it, so it was confiscated real fast!

All Colton wanted to do was reel his line in and have us re-cast it for him, he didn’t understand the concept of waiting, but he had fun any way.

Monte caught the biggest fish of the day. It was so much fun, even though the fish were tiny it was great because as soon as you put your line in you would get a bite. this made it exciting for the kids, and watching them get so excited over catching baby fish made it fun for us! It was a good day and every one had fun.

What a Silly Girl!!

Kaci is becoming more and more fun every day. She is so silly and it amazes me how much personality is crammed in her little body. Here are some fun pictures of her that I took the other day.

It was almost nap time and I knew she was tired, but I didn’t want to lay her down too early and have her wake up earlier then normal so I was trying to hold off for about twenty minutes. Kaci decided enough was enough and laid down by the couch and fell asleep. I think that the funniest thing about this picture is that she not only has a pacifier in her mouth, but she has a spare in her little hand, just in case I guess! This girl loves her pacifiers, but it makes for a happy baby, so I can’t complain!

DSC01308

Here she is in the morning helping me unload the dishwasher before breakfast. She sure is a morning person! I love her crazy hair!

DSC01309

She may look like she is giving a cute little smile, but she is actually yelling at me because I locked her out of the kitchen. Even when she is angry she is darling! what a girl!!

Colton is such a helper

Colton is so cute, he is really into helping out right now. He likes to help set the table, and make sure every one has enough food. He is funny because he likes to help Kaci especially, if he finds her sippy cup he will bring it to her and take out her pacifier so she can get a drink. He also likes to share his food with her, we really have to supervise this though because this morning he gave her half of his string cheese stick and I was worried that she would choke so I had to be a mean mom and take it away, and she didn’t like that very much. Here are some pictures of him being a helper.

DSC01189

In this picture he helped set the table (except the knives) and gave every one a carrot and a cucumber slice, with out being asked!

DSC01191

In this picture he was helping feed Kaci a snack and dumped the whole box of vanilla wafers on her tray.

She thought he was the coolest brother ever until I was a mean mom again and put them all back in the box!

Taking a Walk

It was really nice outside today so I decided to take the kids out by my parent’s house to go on a walk. I didn’t want to stay in town because Colton is at the age where he likes to actually walk rather than be in the stroller and he gets distracted by everything and when we walk in town I am afraid he will run into the street or something. I took the camera with me to see if I could get some cute pictures of the kids.
