Oh what would I do without Colton? Probably get a lot more sleep and have a much cleaner house... but I wouldn't laugh as much or have as much fun either! Although, when it is 4 in the morning and he has already been up for two hours and going strong it is hard to think that cheerfully! But I would not trade him for all the sleep in the world! He is also in the opening cubbords stage and likes to pull things out one by one. I don't mind this too bad because it keeps him happy, I just moved all of the dangerous stuff out of reach and let him make a mess, the only down side is I have to keep putting all of the stuff away every couple of hours and have decided that trying to keep it organized is pretty much pointless. He is fun to watch though. Another thing he has started doing is 'helping' me unload the dishwasher. He is pretty funny because he likes to pull out each piece of silverware and drop it directly behind him and he is fast! In one picture he is making his "strong" face as he is trying to pull out the silverware holder. He cracks me up! The other dishwasher picture he is just posing for the camera. The picture of him in his crib shouldn't exist because he should have been fast asleep, but he had other ideas, so when I went in to get him this is what I found. What a pill! The first picture is of him trying to be a puppy, I guess. He started dragging things around like that after Thanksgiving so I guess he must have learned it from one of the puppies there or something! Either way it is cute though! What a fun kid, our lives would definately be empty with out him.

Update
Not a whole lot has happend here, but I have taken some cute pictures of Colton! Here they are. The top two are of Weldon and Colton playing, they are so cute and it is so fun to watch, Colton ADORES his Daddy! In the next one Colton got a yogurt melt stuck on his cheek and wasn't coordinated enough to get it off, at first he wasn't too happy about it, but as soon as I got the camera out he decided it wasn't so bad. The next two are just cute pictures of Colton where he has pulled himself up. I still can't believe he is big enough to do that!
Thanksgiving
Wow I didn't even realize that we had some pictures of Thanksgiving until I was going through the camera. I know it was a while ago but I decided to go ahead and post on it anyway. We spent the holiday with the Payne family and had a lot of fun. There were so many people and little cousins that wanted to love him that Colton got a little frazzled at the very end, but I do think he had fun playing with cousins and being loved on by Monie and Grandpa, oh and he really liked the puppies. In fact he kept trying to eat the puppies! But with the exception of a few times that he managed to crawl into Baxter's cage I think we kept the puppies pretty safe. It was good to see every one and I can't believe how big all of my little nephews are getting! Sorry this is so late being put up!

More Colton
This week Colton has been practicing getting into things. The other day I was folding and putting away laundry and he decided to be so helpful by getting into his little clothes basket and pulling out all of his folded clothes. It was pretty funny because he was just having a ball. Look at that face he is making, he is like a little "Distructo Man!" After he got almost all of his clothes out I put him in the basket and got his picture. The other pictures are of him being our little puppy and begging for food, he even whines, have we got him trained or what?! Yeah right, more like he has us trained, he whines, and we feed him. It is quite a system, but it works. We sure love our little boy!
Little Santa!
Here are some pictures of Colton in his little Santa outfit. He is such a doll! he was so funny though because he did not like the hat on his head at all and just kept pulling it off, I don't think that we got a single picture of him with it all of the way on, he thought it was funny when I wore it though. There are also a picture of his little feet, they were so cute! I think we had more fun playing dress up then he did, but he was a good sport.

The Zoo!
This Saturday we went to the zoo! I was really excited because I LOVE the zoo and seeing all of the animals is so much fun. I was a little bit worried about how Colton would do, but he was really great and I think he had fun looking at everything, well, at least he didn't cry. Maybe when he is a little older he will be more enthusiastic about tigers and elephants and stuff. I think that he did like the birds though because he really paid attention to them. Weldon and I had fun too and it was nice to get out of the house for a while. We probably walked three miles or so and were so tired by the end, but it was worth it. The only problem was that Colton got to take a nap on the way home, so by the time we got a chance to sit down and rest he was ready to party!

Friends!
Here are some cute pictures of Colton with his new friends. One is of him with his new little penguin friend that Weldon got for him. It is a really cute little toy and Colton really likes it because it makes noise and no matter how many times he pushes it over it bounces right back at him!
The other pictures are of Colton with his cousin Dallin when they came to visit us this weekend. We had lots of fun, and the little boys sure were cute to watch together. Colton liked Dallin, it was funny though because if some one was paying Dallin too much attention for Colton's liking he would chase them around and want them to notice him too! I can't help but laugh when I see these pictures of them together, especially the one where they are holding hands! It is crazy because even though Dallin is younger then Colton, he has way way more hair, and I think he might even be bigger! Both are super cute kids!!

Colton and I
Weldon says that I need to put up more pictures of Colton and me together so I picked out a few of my favorites that are most recent. In three of the pictures we are just smiling for the camera. The other is of Colton when he decided that he wanted to share some of my chocolate ice cream before we went swimming. He liked it very much and made a big sticky mess. He liked it so much that now if I ever want to eat some I have to wait until he goes to bed other wise he thinks that he aught to have it all!!!

The Lake
Last weekend we were bored and wanted to do something fun so we got to looking on the internet and found out that there was a lake about 20 min from where we live so we packed up a lunch and went out for the afternoon. The drive to the lake was beautiful, we went down into a canyon and then right infront of us was the lake! It was really cool to see all of that water out in the middle of the desert like that. Weldon decided that someday we will get a boat so we can water ski and do all of the fun stuff that we saw people doing with thier boats. I said that would be ok with me. When we got there we realized that we needed a parking pass otherwise we could get a ticket, the only problem was that there was no where to get one. But that didnt stop us we just ate there anyway! It was a really nice little trip and we had a really fun time. It was good to get out of the city and have room to breathe for awhile.

This Week
s
Here are some pictures of our family this past week. In one Colton is showing off his messy face. One is of Weldon picking up our nephew Wyatt, and Colton watching. Colton wasn't sure what to think of baby Wyatt, sometimes he would laugh and smile at him, but most of the time he would just look at him like he was wondering what he was and why he made so much noise, it was fun to have Adelle and Wyatt over! There is also a picture of Weldon reading Colton his bedtime stories. We got Colton some rice paddy cracker things and he eats them soooo fast! In like three bites they are gone! He likes being able to use his new teeth for something!
Wyatt
Here are some pictures of Wyatt, our brand new nephew. He was born last month and is such a cutie! Adelle and Trent are so proud of him and they have every right to be! They were up here last week and we had alot of fun visiting. Wyatt is so tiny, especially when compared to Colton. It is crazy how much of a difference a few months can make.

Tara's Wedding
Here are a few pictures of my sister Tara and Ryan's wedding. Tara's dress was gorgeous and they looked so happy and cute together!! After watching them get married and take pictures and everything I went through all of my wedding pictures and and had a good time doing that. It is amazing to me how much Weldon and I have changed since we got married, when I look at our pictures I see a couple of kids, and now it is really crazy because we have a kid of our own! I wouldn't change a thing though.
Good luck Tara and Ryan! Congratulations!
