Thanksgiving

I know this is a bit late, but better late then never right ? So first off I was supposed to bring some pie for Thanksgiving at Weldon’s parent’s house. I made a practice pie first just to make sure they would turn out. Colton wanted to help so we got out our super cute aprons that Monie made for us last Christmas and made a pie together. Colton had lots of fun dumping the ingredients into the mixing bowl and turning the mixer on and off.He is such a helper. When it was time to roll the dough into pie crusts he was really interested and wanted to help do the rolling, but I wouldn’t let him do that part. Then he realized that the dough had the same consistency of play dough so every time I would roll over the dough to flatten it he would slam both of his hands into the pie crust and then lift them up to look and the imprints left behind and say “Colton’s hands!!” It was funny but also really aggravating because then I would have to try and get his hand prints out. Needless to say he did not help with the actual pies!! Here we are making pies together:

So the next pictures are of us all during Thanksgiving with Weldon’s family. Colton and Kaci had so much fun playing with all of the cousins. We would come home every night and before Colton would crash he would keep telling us about Monie and Papa and all of his cousins, then he would smile and say “Fun!!” It was cute and I am so glad that there are so many boy cousins just his age. It makes for a fantastically wild party when every one gets together.

The boys attacked Uncle Josh and had a rope around his boot to hold him down. It was fun to see them all working and playing together, and actually getting along!
